General William Augustus Pettygree has returned to duty at:

generalpettygree.blogspot.com

in a serialized fictional photo novelette. Photo captions are mostly used to advance the 1898/2008 storyline. Chapters 1 and 2 are available now. Chapter 3 is in production on the tabletop.

Respecfully,
Bill

My dear Cyrus,
----------
Je suis d'accord. (I agree)
----------
Those were good days.
Fun, laughs, proper game tension unique to colonial games, imponderables and shocking endings, especially that last Imperial Hicks-like disaster under Mike's command including then Colonel Pettygree's miraculous escape.
----------
I'll be in touch for a game when it makes sense to change from solo to participation.
----------
May the winds of the mountain passes be kind to you,
Bill

Colonel Pettygree's miraculous escape.

His fate was written and it was not his time. It was the will of Allah of whom I am but a humble servant.

Great games, too many laughs to count and a whole lot of fun. Maybe, when the time comes, the Northwest Frontier will prove kinder. 8^D

Gentlemen,
-------------
Chapter #3 is imminent – within hours very likely.

You may want to refresh your memories about Chapters 1 and 2 before Chapter 3 arrives on the blog.

If you go to:
generalpettygree.blogspot.com
you will see what I am writing about.

Respecfully Yours,
Bill

PS Summary Of The Concept:

On a blog entitled Campaigns of General William Augustus Pettygree, I am cobbling together a serialized and captioned photo novelette of a solo and participation NW Frontier Campaign. The idea is to present a photo essay with captions of what is happening. A virtual picture book perhaps? The concept can be adapted to any gaming era.

It's very easy actually for viewers. Photos tell most of the story. Brief captions tell the rest. This new genre might make AARs easier to read, understand and enjoy – a little more I hope.
