We have painted some 15mm Lancashire Games Confederates. Are they correctly painted? How do you rate lancashire Games figures?

I want to sell these pro painted figures in 100 figure (Infantry 76, Command 12, Cavalry 12) units. That is a command group, Infantry and Cavalry. Is this too big a unit?

The colors look correct. There is a great variety of colors, of greys and browns (butternuts) in Confederate clothing.

The figures themselves look okay, as well. My collection is Old Glory 15's. These look roughly comparable.

What I'm doubtful about is mixing cavalry and infantry in a large group for sale. ACW armies varied a lot in composition, but the infantry predominated to the point that a lot of battles we game might have NO cavalry on the table. I think potential customers for the infantry might not want to buy the cavalry.

A better mix would be the infantry and a couple of artillery pieces with crews.

doc mcb is probably right. Inf and art would appeal to more people, as would simply 100 unbased inf.

I agree with the above. The figures look fine. But I wouldn't want to buy infantry and get stuck with some cav at the same time. I'd make cav a seperate purchase.

I've been thinking of sending you some 20mm ACW for painting (yeah, I know, I have to have a different scale from everyone else). I was wondering if I could give adequate instructions for painting the varied look of the Rebels. Now I may send some and just say "paint 'em like the 15mms you have for sale."

I appreciate your views. So I have to sell Cav separate and add artillery peices to Infantry. It is always good to ask from Guru's views before launching the product.
This is collector but I can paint them in Showcase for
thoese who want higher quality, and wargamer quality for
thoese who want them at a bargain.
Thanks for your advice.

I agree with all of the above.

Yes, infantry and guns combined, cavalry in a seperate package.

I recently sent ACW figures to you, 300 infantry, 12 guns and 16 cavalry. My buddy had a similar amount of Confederate sin the order. We're well pleased with the painted figures, but note we had a much lower ratio of mounted to foot.
