Some low-impact "D&D" dice from the 1970's. One of the d20's is a sphere. |

Thanks so much for all your answers. It is very interesting to hear the stories of the old dice. It just shows that dice are an investment for a lifetime of fun! |

I still have the d12, d8, & d20 from my first D&D box set 1979. The oldest one is a d6 I swiped out of my parent's Risk game. It's white and has pips for 2-5; there is no one; that side is blank. So that die has been around since the mid-60s? Older than me at least. |

I have a set of white AD&D dice from roughly 1981, when I got into the game. The edges and corners are getting quite worn. I filled the numbers with official black and red AD&D crayons when they were new, but they're painted-in now. I think I still have the crayons somewhere. |

My oldest set is a set of d20s from 1977. Some of the d6s may be older but I do not know for sure. |

My big shoebox of old gaming/D&D dice doubtless has some that date back to when I started in 1976. Probably there are some in there borrowed from the family's Risk or Yahtzee sets, which would backdate them 2 or 4 or 6 years. |

Got my first pecentile dice in the eearly 70's. Had to send to the USA for them. Got some d6's which date from the 50's – belonged to boardgames my parents had. |

My dice buying started around '82 or '83, but I'm sure I have a handful a few years older than those from games I've inherited. |
