As promised, you can now download my Zulu Wars participation game article as a free PDF from PDF link . The link also appears on the Battlegames website (http://www.battlegames.co.uk) and blog (http://battlegames.wordpress.com/). Dan Mersey's original "Well of Tarka" article that this game was based on appears in the freshly-available issue 14 of Battlegames, which is now available from the shop at link Dave Ryan of Caliver Books will have supplies of the magazine with him at Partizan, and I'll be there with my camera (and a wet suit, if this weather gets any worse!) A fantastic game report and to the usual high standards of your publication. Enjoyed it a great deal. We simply need to make time to try out the rules ourselves. Keep up the good work. :~) |

Red 'tunic' and bushy sideburns? I think I look every part the Victorian officer on page 4! Excellent way to present this game Henry, and great fun to play too
even if I do happen to have been the most hapless commander to date :-) Dan |

This is terrific – just the excuse I need to get my colonials on the table (the chaps at my club ahve an aversion to the Zulu War for some reason – Probably because they assume all games will be a boring 'Turkey shoot' leading to an easy Imperial victory – Not so here I think. Out of interest Henry, how quick did the game take to play out? Andy |
