No, it's not some crazed edict. I just saw that On Military Matters is carrying a set of rules called, "REPENT OR DIE:Wars Of Religion 1492-1660", by Hoplite Research. Does anyone know anything about these rules? Anyone seen them? The description says: Tactical rules set for the Wars of Religion 1492 to 1660. Covers all the major & minor combatants, leaders, and the various tactical changes in the war. Large battles in 3-4 hours. |

My guess is that when you need to roll a 6, your conscience better be clear. |

Geez, I though you had accidentally cross-posted from the Sci-Fi board :) |

When you roll two sixes you switch sides and religions. |

What happens when you roll 3 sixes? oooh, scary |

My army will only march to the tune of Skafish's "Sign of the Cross". All who oppose me shall be decalred heretics and burned at the stake. Fire, it burns as it cleans and cleans as it burns! ;^) |

Hoplite Research is the group which brought out Panzer Korps. Repent or Die is not scheduled to be released until September. That's why you got those intelligent responses. Rich (the mature) |

I look forward to these rules, since the renaissance period obviously is not the most favourite for rule-writers. Peter |

Any reviews? Probably too early, as they just shipped a couple of weeks ago. There is a Yahoo discussion group. I think it's called "repentordie" (oddly enough). John |
