I have tried a few times over the last few months to sign up as a member on the forums at the League of Augsburg web site, but without success. Each attempt generates an email, telling me that the account needs to be approved by a moderator, which is fair enough, but no approval ever arrives. Is anyone else having this problem or am I especially cursed? |

Same thing happened to me last year – there are a few places on the Web like that .. Register, register, lots of benefits, keep in touch, yada, yada, yada. Then nothing! They must think we're fools. |

Lazybones, you will be very welcome to join the forum. E mail me at wordtwister@hotmail.co.uk and tell me exactly the name you have signed up under. I will then activate it. If you haven't included full details about you location and interests I would not have allowed your membership… with 50+ Spam bots per day from some of the nastiest spammers on the net peddling all sorts of disgusting muck I don't take any chances unless I am cast iron sure of new members. cheers Barry |

Barry, Thanks for the post, and for pointing out what I did wrong. I quite understand about the spambots, and should have taken more trouble to make myself visibly human. Email sent. Lazy by name, lazy by nature :-( |

It took me a while to get sorted as well. Turned out to be my fault. I had attempted to register twice and was trying the wrong user name to log in. Barry has been helpful, and patient in resolving this. I cut him considerable slack as I am sure running the web forum is not his full time job. League of Augsburg (dot) com all one word should get you there. |
