…in 28mm. Both a version for Vietnam and for Darkest Africa. 'Nam version doesn't necessarily need to look like Brando. Interested in any imaginative choice suitable for the character in both periods.

How about Cappy Boyd from the Pulp Figures range? As I remember the book, he was a weedy sort – - –

Darkest Africa

There is one bald, pot bellied askari with a machete. He has a musket slung across his back but that could be replaced with a modern weapon or pack. His trousers look ragged and could be painted in camo patterns.

You mean "Baraka?" That's an extremely cool idea. I see him with tiger stripe camo and an AK47 on his back >;)

we won't allow you to raise a Zombie Kurtz, because it's obscene.

Zombie Kurtz? What figure would you use?

Commodore Wells 121 Aug 2008 2:33 a.m. PST

The Darkest Africa Kurtz was all skin and bones, unkept beard and ragged clothes.

How about Ben Gun from the Foundry, Treasure Island pack in their pirate range.

The figure is a prety good generic castaway for all periods.

Looking for Kurtz is sort of the point of the whole mission, isn't it?
