Hardly encouraging for an "Elite" when the cover photo shows an Englishman thumping a Scot and taking away his flag. Is one to assume the rest of the illustrations inside the book show Scotsmen running away, surrendering and weeping in Gaelic despair? |

Yes. Of all the Scots armies that went to war, the one that got thumped at Flodden is probably least deserving of the 'Elite' designation. |
