In no particular order Fiction Cross of Iron Sgt. Rock Haunted Tank Johnny Cloud Battlefields series comic books written by Garth Ennis Non-Fiction Panzer Battles – von Mellinthin Band of Brothers, Pegasus Bridge, Citizen Soldiers – Steven Ambrose The German Generals Talk – B.H. Lidell Hart Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors – J. Hornfischer Brazen Chariots – Robert Crisp Andrew Jackson Higgins and the Boats that Won World War II – Jerry E. Strahan; I learned a lot from this book. Higgins fought US Navy beauracracy tooth and nail to get his proven better designs accepted. Go For Broke: The Nisei Warriors of World War II Who Conquered Germany, Japan, and American Bigotry – Douglas Sterner Salut y'all! Bruce the Texas Grognard |
