In no particular order

Fiction
Cross of Iron
Sgt. Rock
Haunted Tank
Johnny Cloud
Battlefields series comic books written by Garth Ennis

Non-Fiction
Panzer Battles – von Mellinthin
Band of Brothers, Pegasus Bridge, Citizen Soldiers – Steven Ambrose
The German Generals Talk – B.H. Lidell Hart
Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors – J. Hornfischer
Brazen Chariots – Robert Crisp
Andrew Jackson Higgins and the Boats that Won World War II – Jerry E. Strahan; I learned a lot from this book. Higgins fought US Navy beauracracy tooth and nail to get his proven better designs accepted.
