You don't think this could have been accomplished with *one* post, James? |

Computer I was using with a weak wireless connection was timing out when I hit start a new thread. Don't know why for sure I assume it was the very weak wireless (one bar) I was using from a non-secure link in my sister-in-law's housing area. She does not have wireless. VR James Mattes |

James- You know you can always get your Nappies fix with the TSS. Fayetteville isn't that far down the road from the Triangle. I think Ron is going to start hosting a lot of games at his shop, so if you are looking to put a game on

Where is the shop located and is there a web address? Sincerely, Kevin |

The shop in question – link The guy who runs it (Ron) appears to break the mold of FLGS, at least in our region. Namely, he runs his clean well-lit shop in a professional manner, is friendly and helpful to his customers, and is free of behavioral issues or personality disorders that would doom his store to becoming a private club for a few months and then closing down. The store is also very kid-friendly. Its very cool to be able to walk into a shop and have a good selection of Artizan, Blue Moon, Old Glory, Corvus Belli, etc, minis right there in the shop alongside a selection of GW products and a wide array of board and classic games. Ok, I admit I'm a bit biased but check it out and see if you don't agree. |

Brent Thanks Brent, I have Ron on my short list of folks to visit. There is only one other Venue in the area that carries any historical miniatures. The Hobbit in Fayetteville. I do also plan to make Southern Front this year again. VR James Mattes |

It's not quite a close but don't forget Underground Games in Charlotte. Good FLGS are few and far between and it's always worthwhile to support them when you get a chance. link |

Good luck with Napoleonics in Fayettnam. Last I was at the Hobbit the only thing folks were playing was 40K and FOW. I am up in Durham, but will happily travel and gladly host Napoleonics, &c. Cheers, Brian |

James, the Cape Fear Historical Gamers (I think that's the name) have asked TSS: 'If we (Cape Fear) can find a venue in Fayetteville [looking at The Hobbit, originally] would you guys come run games with us ?' We've run games with Cape Fear (Wilmington) both in that city and in Jacksonville. They (Chuck Cothran, a leader of the group) were looking to expand and develop more HM gamers in F'ville/Bragg. Your bro-in-law's place might be ideal, since he's indicated he'd make it available to you at times. |

Ed I will have to look to link up with them! Thanks. If things go along as fast as I think I might be in Fayetteville as early as December. Watch out TSS a storm is comming and it's name is James! (said in the best Kurt Russell in tombstone). VR James Mattes
