Hi,

I would like to know who the manufacturer of this vessel is, since I would like to purchase one:

picture

Do you know who makes it, what scale it is, and what the product code, or name of it is?

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Feel free to contact me directly, at the e-mail address below, if you have one for sale, or know if someone else who does.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Rob

the pic says thats its an Old Glory thats outta production. Give Teresa a call, and see if they have any laying around.

I put that on there (e.g. the file name), but don't know if it is really true, or not.

I will check with them though.

Thanks,

Rob

Could be either the old Dixon one or possibly the Village Green (now stronghold one)?

I have a reply from Old Glory, and they think it may be a Dixon vessel.

It is a nice ship.

I bet it's an ex Village Green, now Stronghold.

Yep, looks like a Village Green one to me.

Yes, Village green, I have a couple of VG ships (not that one, the one in the photo is the smallest ship) and there are several features that identify the vessel as VG or at least made by the same person; The "fences", the anchors, the ladder to the bridge, the shape and decoration of the hull and specially the two cannon openings in the lower deck in the bow.

Palafox31 Jul 2008 5:27 p.m. PST

BTW, VG ships are "as shown" on the photo, no removing of parts to show lower decks.

Thanks for the info guys.

Is it a 15mm, or 25mm vessel?

I think it looks like a 15mm one, but not 100% sure.

Top Gun Ace31 Jul 2008 8:09 p.m. PST

Never mind.

Answered my own question, by looking at the top of the page.

25mm.

I was thinking the Stronghold 15mm vessels might be the same as VG, but apparently not.

No, the Stronghold 15mm ones were rather less ornate than the Village Green 25s; they were released to accompany Peter Pig's pirate range way back.
