…the pics of wife type unit or girlfriend version of companionship are somehow missing…

nycjadie31 Jul 2008 7:38 a.m. PST

Where did you get the case?

Gunfreak31 Jul 2008 7:40 a.m. PST

Ikea, it's all ikea, except the bed.

the case comes with wood panle shelfs, but you can by glass ones for it.

ArchiducCharles31 Jul 2008 8:23 a.m. PST

Aah, the first appartment! Always the one you'll remember most!

Enjoy!

Mark Wals31 Jul 2008 8:35 a.m. PST

Gunfreak, you've turned into a historical painting MACHINE! It warms my heart. How's the quest for historical oriented gamers in Norway coming?

Mark

not good, the only historic club I found is dead or in some sort of deep deep DEEP sleep.
I have found Craig, but he's on the other side of the country.
and We do have a sweed that migh move to oslo this fall.

but thats about it

Vosper31 Jul 2008 8:54 a.m. PST

Hmm, have to find out which case that is.

Looks like a good setup you have going there.

Congratulations, I wish my first place had been as wargame friendly. grin

Try to humour M & P, though, they are only concerned about you (sorry to get so stupid on you, but I have a couple of kids – well young adults who are probably your age and at your stage of moving out…)

Well, I'm 23, so I guess I might be somewhat older.

it will be intresting tho to see how tight it will be when I get the computer and tv in there.

but the table's can be taken down, and put away if I need the room, if I get company ect.

don't tell my parants this, but the number one reason I moved out was to get my own table.

What country do you live in?
It would be illegal to rent an apartment that small in the USA… well, not really…
;-)

I love the galley kitchen.
One small round sink and a two burner cooker!

Gunfreak31 Jul 2008 11:27 a.m. PST

Norway. and it should be ilegal to rent an apartment that small here to

Lord Ashram31 Jul 2008 1:32 p.m. PST

I am pretty sure that an apartment that size in Manhattan would cost arrround $1,200 USD a month, at least, in the worst parts of town. The wife, before we were married, rented a studio for $1,100 with one bedroom less in the middle of Harlem.

Just saying:)

Lord Ashram31 Jul 2008 1:33 p.m. PST

Oh and it looks great!:D Seriously, you really paint FAST. I've been stuck on a single unit of Russian grenadiers for like two months!:)

And the name is excellent;)

Gunfreak31 Jul 2008 1:46 p.m. PST

I pay $850 USD a month with heat and stuff.

it's about half of what I make a month, so no more $1,000 USD spending sprees on me, now Im sticking with with $999 USD spending sprees

HobbyGuy31 Jul 2008 1:54 p.m. PST

You should be a babe magnet with that place : >

Lord Ashram31 Jul 2008 3:32 p.m. PST

Man, when WARGAMERS are posting snide comments about being chick magnets, you know you are in trouble. Especially if you have ever walked into a wargames convention hall on about the third day of the convention…

;)

Lord Ashram31 Jul 2008 3:32 p.m. PST

And if you ask me, he might find the RIGHT kind of chicks with that place:)

blucher31 Jul 2008 3:57 p.m. PST

Youve been busy for 8 months thats for sure. I like your place and your figs and that picture on the wall is very cool.

Footslogger01 Aug 2008 2:45 a.m. PST

Gunfreak, you're scaring me.

First an apartment, tomorrow the world…. if we project your current fast progress forward, in ten year's time you're going to be living in a huge warehouse full of gaming stuff, all of it painted, with a single bed and a toilet in one corner.

Gunfreak01 Aug 2008 5:04 a.m. PST

warehouse eh.

starts looking for one

Excellent my boy! Excellent! Just remember that when you get one of those "Female controlling units" that she is going to say "I think we can find a better place for this…" as she looks at your table…

HobbyGuy02 Aug 2008 8:57 a.m. PST

Bingo Murphy, ah.. third day again, whew.. the smell in here…

The Hound02 Aug 2008 9:49 a.m. PST
