Hello all, How many here have experience with Black powder artillery? Can any of you list contact information for groups who do shoot black powder artillery? Do any of you all know the name of the History channel show where they showed a Black powder artillery shoot off in the north of U.S. which ended with a shoot off against a modern Canadian artillery piece. The leaders of the event where twins who own a machine shop style company. going to start some big discussions. Thanks Lord Ghee |

Dear Ghee Yes, I have over the last few years been involved in an artillery group that has been involved in artillery for about 30 years in the UK. Probably my colleagues would know that if they are still talking to me. Stephen |

The North-South Skirmish Association is the group you are looking for! They have periodic target shooting competitions for just about anything that uses black powder, including artillery. Here is their website: n-ssa.org |

The people you saw on the History Channel were Bruce and Bernie Paulson of Paulson Brothers' Ordnance: pbocorp.biz Go to the Action entry on the menu for video clips of various pieces being fired (usually on the range at Fort McCoy, hence the surplus military vehicles). |
