At Friday's flea market I met two younger gentlemen who had just become new members of HMGS. I'd like to extend to them a warm, hearty welcome to the world of organized historical minaiature gaming. They came to sell painted Front Rank and Foundry Napoleonic figures as their first club and convention activity and from the crowd around their table, they were very successful. I unfortunately had no cash at the time and couldn't partake of the goodies, however John and his friend (didn't get the name, sorry) should be commended for jumping in first thing and meeting and learning something about the club membership. All other new members, welcome as well and give us some of your experiences as a new HMGS member, so we can all learn something you and ourselves as a club. |

No, but it fits the Club message board category as well the Convention category. And the main thing is to welcome these new members and get them involved in the whatever you want to call it. Welcome, guys and gals. |
