I hardly know what category to post this oddball request in. I'd really like to locate some 25mm or 28mm figures of classic masked "mystery" wrestlers (e.g., Ben Justice from the early 1970s) and also of classic Circus folk (not just Clowns, but Strongmen, Ringmasters, aerialists, gymnasts, animal trainers, freaks, etc.) Anyone have any leads? TMP hasn't failed me yet! And now to crosspost….

Brigade games has two full circus act "armies."

One of the HorrorClix expansion sets was based around a circus setting.

The Heroclix version of Bane would make a really good masked wrestler. I had a character concept for a Mutants & Masterminds character named Tag-Team who had the power to make multiple copies of himself. I was going to buy a bunch of Banes to be his multiple selves.

There is always Narg from Hasslefree Miniatures:

My Version of it:

How about this one for a Strong man (Black Hat miniatures):

Narg is getting close -- the Bane figure is loaded with more gear than I want. I prefer a simple uncluttered figure like this:

Cowl-mask, boots, trunks are all that's necessary -- the champion belt shown in this picture is disposable.

I modded a Bane figure into a perfectly good El Santo. Just swap out heads and lower torsos.

"I prefer a simple uncluttered figure like this."

So sexy! Are you sure that's safe for work?

It is, for we traditional males. ;-)

Let the surprise Zed appearances now begin…

How about link

The hooded fellow would make a marvellous evil wrestler, esp. with the chain.

There are zombie wrestlers in twilight creations Humans!!! game. They have boots, belt and maybe a mask (or is it their face?) anywho, you get ten of them.

I actually converted a Heroclix figure -- Bullseye, I think -- into a Ben Justice, and the evidence is here:

picture

Another couple of Bullseyes became The Phantom and my own creation, Panda Boy

I even converted a few Invisible Girl models into other original superheroines of my own creation, such as Tornado Girl -- you can do a lot with a knife, some glue, and paint.
