Hmm. I tried to make a count of all that's painted and I came up with the following: Roughly 400 painted VOID figures, if not 500. About 50-60 painted postapocalypse/near future skirmish figures. A company of USF Troops for Conquest Galactica (15mm, around 100 figures). A Mobile Infantry army for Starship Troopers, in the region of 50 figures. Assorted stuff and skirmish clocking in at about 100 painted. Not too bad, although I have too much lying about unpainted :\ |

Back when I was conducting playtesting and demos of Guard du Corps, I had many Napoleonic armies. For each of the significant powers I had at least 30 foot Bns and many more Cavalry regiments and arty batteries. Minor powers had at least 10 foot Bns. For Induanas Colonels and Emirs, I had a large Dervish army, Zulu army and a british Army as well as a Chinese Imperial and a Boxer army plus an International army of 30 Bns. In DBM-FoG I have a Pontic army, Bactrian-Greek, Russ, Viking, Imperial Romans, Three Kingdom Korean, A Western Saheal and a Burmese army. All of these were 15mm. In the 10-12mm range I have a dozen armies for the SciFi rules Distant World Battles. |

I have a lot of painted miniatures, but I don't really have any "armies". I don't play any games that are tournament-style or have army lists, so I don't have anything organized by "army". I do have all the ships (down to individual destroyers) for all the nations available in 1/6000 scale from the Pre-Dread period through WWII. Does that count? |

Okay lets see all in 6mm heroics and ros 1) 1866-70 Austrians 2) 1866-70 French 3) 1870 Prussians 4) 1866-70 Danish 5) 1866-? Russians The plan is now to redo these with 10mm Pendraken figures. I have started on the French. Seven Years War Baccus 1) French/German allies (more or less done) 2) British/German allies (more or less done) Adler 1) Austrians (about half done need to rebase or replace with Baccus) 2) Prussians (same as above) A bunch of modern GHQ almost all infantry 1) Egyptians 1967-73 2) Jordinians 1967-70's (small amount) 3) Syrians 1967-90's 4) Russians/Soviets 1970's-90's 5) Misc Africans/Muslims/Balkan types 6) 1990's British both desert and Europe/Balkans WWII Adler 1) some Africa Korps, Spanish Blue division, Russians and Hungarians. 15mm Peter Pig 1) 1918-20's RCW Reds 2) 1918-20's RCW Whites 3) 1918-19 Polish (about a small army group) 4) Spanish Civil War International Brigade The majority of the rest is a big mess of stuff not close to armies. I tend to loose focus so these tend to end at a few bases and then something else. |
