You might take a look at the Hasbro Star Wars Transformers, particulalrly the Republican Gunship. It's a bit small for a squad of 10 GW Space Marines or IG but could 'accommodate' say 5 models. I'll be working on the basis that the troops won't be in the models as they fly in, but will debus as it lands so it doesn't matter who rides in them – could use them for AT-43 Air Cavalry? Need a paint job and a bit of work to remove some of the transformer bits. Also need to cover all the screws that make the transformation possible and glue the various bits into a fixed position. Take a look you'll see what I mean.

Of course, you are probably aware of the GW Tau vehicles as well.

Pig Iron makes a modular tank/apc

link

Armorcast also makes a nice modular APC/Gun vehicle – which was much nicer until the price went up a few years back.

Die Cast Vehicles from Schuco or Solido (1/43 usually works well with 28/30mm, 1/48 or 1/50 work with actual 25mm)

("This just in: a full semi-truck load of deodorant containers has been reported missing by the local Target store. Police in Frisco, Texas state that the entire delivery dock staff was found locked in a broom closet unable to recall what had happened, or who if anyone was involved, only the sound of maniacal laughter in their heads! This is clearly the single most massive disappearance of deodorant containers in North Texas history!")
