but before I order it, does anyone own it? or loked through it in detail?

I own BLOOD OF NOBLE MEN and ALAMO SOURCEBOOK. Does this offer new or better material than those two excellent books?

It is in, and it is magnificent. Gorgeous and informative. Only problem is, now I'm dissatisfied with my beautifully painted Hudson and Allen Alamo.

I knew you would loveit! I agree about the Hudson and Allen model. I am going to keep the church and try and scarcthbuild the rest. No doubt it will take years as I am building san Antonio De Bejar at present. Just finished San Fernando church and now doing some houses. Jacales up next!

I scratchbuilt the lunette. I will probably redo it, in line with the pictures in this book. It will require some carving oof the H&A maingate piece, to make it fit.

I did a substantial espaldon in line with the drawing in BLOOD OF NOBLE MEN. Replacing that with the simpler one now shown will be relatively easy.

I just received it yesterday. Reading thru it and looking at the photos it makes the Alamo a much more real place for me, somehow. A place of worship, a place to live, a place to die. The model is a marvelous piece of work and he says it took thousands of hours over four months. And he actually did two, one of them in 1/144th and one in 1/48th.
