I saw another post on the forum about playing with the playset USCM in tabletop gaming. For Terrian I was useing a scaled up virsions of some of the colony buildings from the aliens paper colony site at this link you can get download and print out all the colony buildings at this link link Also If you look closely at the marines I painted you will notice I even painted a skull and bones on the one marines shoulder pad and also painted the camera lense so they have a blue type of refelection in them :) The guy also has a Colonial Marines APC you can print out in Card stock, that I use for gaming with the marines.

I have four more colonial marines I am painting up mainly the captain and three more pulse rifle marines. but I do have two spare plastic colonial mariens that I will not be painting trying to decide what to do with them. I am hoping to have the last four colonial marines finished painted and added to my unit soon will post the pics once they are done. |

barnEbiss, nice paint. I have a bunch of these marines myself. I never thought to paint them. I didn't think the figures were detailed enough to put in the time. You have changed my mind. These look very nice. |

If you do paint them make sure you give them a good undercoat. also on most of the marines shoulder lamps I cut those off and replaced them with square green stuff. so the lamps on their shoulders would all be the same size. also I filled in the cracks on their arms where the arms with the weapons are attached to the main model with green stuff so they would be smooth. hope this this advice helps you if you decide to paint yours. |
