Ral Partha used to have a very large bee, with knight riding and standing, back in the day.

Hi Saginaw

The size of the wasp is 60mm from the tip of his pincers to the tip of his stinger and his wingspan is 70mm wing tip to wing tip.

Hope this helps, sorry to be so long getting back to you but it's my youngests birthday and we've been out all afternoon.

Cheers Roger.

What do you use a large bee for, by the way?

Afredo Buzzito, the Great Bummblebeeto Bandito? Just curious.

I don't think this is what you're looking for, but it's my favourite at the moment.

The old Ral Partha bee was the Briarose Knight on foot and mounted on a giant bumblebee. Beautiful sculpts. I have a small unit of 3 of them, plus two of the Bella Donna Knights on Plague Flies.

I'd love to see these put back into production, so I could build a bigger unit, but it hasn't happened yet. Sadly, Iron Wind Metals has no plans to re-release this mini under the Tom Meier Classics line.

Thank you, Roger. That's a good sized wasp, from 28mm on down.

And Happy Birthday to your youngest. I absolutely understand that family always comes first.

How big is "big"?

I have a inflatable pool toy that looks like a bee I use as the upper portion of the "Bumble Blimp" in my superhero games. It's 36" long.
