Don't know about miniatures, but there is plenty of the real thing. The Plains of Abraham, a Napoleonic Martello Tower, original city walls (not so common in North America) , an artillery park and several excellent museums, not to mention narrow 17th and 18th century streets and squares lined with pavement cafes serving cold beer. |

oh, yes, I'm looking forward to all that again too! It's not my first visit to Quebec, but I'd never seen any game shops there. w. |

Well, it's been a long time since my last visit to Quebec City, but I remember that there was a museum just off the Place d'Armes with a diorama of the Battle of the Plains of Abraham. Lots of great history to see throughout the area. Most of the original fortifications are accessible to tourists – you should plan to tour the city walls (including the museum that has been built into one of the redoubts) and la Citadelle. If you have time, a visit to Fort No.1 de Point-Lévis is worth a visit. It is a fort located on the south side of the St Laurence, originally built in the 1860's when there was an invasion scare from the USA. It's interesting to compare the differences between the 19th fortress design and the earlier 18th century defences of Quebec city. Bon voyage! |

Um. It's been seven years since I visited Quebec. I went to a game store that sold Reaper and Rackham, but no historicals. It was just outside the walled city, and, er, had a French name -- It might be this place: DONJON 418-523-1511. |

Librarie Donjon -- I've heard of the place. Thanks! |

Yes, the only one is Librairie Donjon in Québec. No historical, but nice shop nonetheless. They usually have some very nice painted models in display. |
