I've been slowly getting the stuff together to do a Sci-Fi skirmish game based on the Aliens movie. I'll be using the 5150 rules. Here is a picture of some of the miniatures. Most notable are the "dead" alien markers I scratch built. picture Dave Lone Star Historical Miniatures lshm.net Drop by for a virtual visit!! |

Those are really sharp; I'm amazed on how many people play 15MM science fiction. |

Cool stuff! Great work on the fallen aliens. And watch out for those fase-huggers that are moving in. I have been eyeing that line for a long time. (The aliens were part of the FreiKorp line for years). Keep us inform, I want to see what you come up with for terrain. DyeHard The 15mm VSF Page: 15mmvsf.bagofmice.com/index.html |

I got a bunch of these when FreiKorp still made them, they're nice figures and large enough to threaten your 25/28mm guys as well as your 15mm! Couple of old pictures here: warbard.ca/sg2gallery3.html I like the 'killed alien' markers, DontFearDareaper. |

when FreiKorp still made them
Freikorp still do make 'em. It's just that we now own Friekorp. :-) We 'restructured' so they are listed under the post-1900 brand, QRF, along with the sci-fi vehicles and the carnivorous plants. The dinosaurs, on the other hand, have their own section. Geoff link |

Those aliens look exactly like the Pendraken ones I've got. Check out the first pic. link |

Heh, heh, you're right (hadn't even looked at the photos!) Those are the Pendraken ones, not ours. Dave confusing the issue by saying they are ours. Surprised no-one else picked it up before! :-D Ours can be seen on the website, and in Brian's link above. |
DontFearDareaper | 22 Mar 2008 9:33 a.m. PST |
Actually its a mix of both. Some of the figures were given to me (must be the Pendraken ones) the others I ordered from LKM just a few weeks ago. Dave |

I think the crouching ones with the tails up are Pendraken. The one top right is ours. |

I know it's tacky to re-animate a dead thread like this, but does anyone know what happened to the Freikorps science fiction line? I searched the QRF site without any luck, and received no reply when I sent them an email. I suppose this implies that are no longer available, but hope springs eternal. Thanks for any help you can provide, Mark |

…and within an hour of my posting the above, I heard back from Harry (new owner?) at QRF: I have managed to sort through another batch of moulds this week and have the figures you are asking about. I will get them up on the website in the next couple of weeks so please do check back soon. So I guess they'll be available again soon! Mark |
