Hi, Does any know what standards this regiment carried (if any)? I haven't been able to find a reference to any in the Osprey. Thanks in advance Regards |

Or failing that, any plausible suggestions about what a French Emigre Regiment might have carried? Regards |

Hello Whirlwind, even Grouvel in his exhaustive study states, that colours were "inconnus", i.e. unknown. And as the Osprey's just worked with this major oeuvre, it would be difficult to get other information. Nice regards Markus Stein napoleon-online.de |

Thanks Markus. In that case, does anyone know what flags other French Emigre regiments carried, even during the Revolutionary War? Am I right in thinking there some French Emigre regiments in Austrian service? Regards |
