What are "ASSASSIN CENTIPEDES ON CORUSCANT"? I assume Star Wars, right? I bought these a while back, 'cause I needed centipedes, but have no idea what kit/set they belong to: auction CC TMP link |

From the attempt on Padme Amidala's life early in Episode II of Star Wars. Not sure what set they belong to either. I don't recall these being in the plastic game line or WotC's metal line. |

From the blurb I'd say they're an accessory with one of the 3.5" Star Wars action figures from Hasbro. |

But Boss – Can't I just LASER her through the open window? Nooooo – she must survive – to lure Anadin to his doom as a servant of evil But there is a good chance the assassin centipedes will WORK! They have poison Fangs. Have you considered that? I can lase her through the open window, miss and THEN lure asprin to the dark side! Have you no sense of STYLE? Creepy-Crawlies it must be. Pat |

A whole bunch of those would make for an excellent 'Sci Fi Saturday' movie game

Got them, and cut off the headspine. I use them as giant centipedes in near-future scenarios. W. S. Burroughs had some disturbing descriptions of them in his later work. The Red Night Trilogy (mid 1970s to mid 1980s): The books Cities of the Red Night, The Place of Dead Roads and The Western Lands. |

BTW, they came with the R2D2 action figure that makes sounds like the real movie one. All in all well worth to get your hands. |
