What figs could be used to represent these in 25/28mm? Thanks. HYW would be too early. WOR? thanks. Anybody make specific troops for this period.

There are loads of sites which have Swiss from this period – and they would work just great – try Front Rank, Foundry, some of the GW fantasy Empire troops (without the skulls) work in a pinch. Old Glory has some figures, as do many other manufacturers. It all depends on what you are looking for.

Archers would be easily obtained from the WotR lines, pikes from the Swiss lines and cavalry from the WorR lines will work in just fine. Some of the GW cavalry without the funky weapons will work too. Depends on which look you want for your army.

Front Rank are exceptional. If you can get a hold of the February 2008 issue of "Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy" (the Spanish wargame magazine), it has an article on the Army of Charles the Bold, with hundreds of figures depicted. Magnificent paint jobs and terrain.

The old Grenadier range of Fighting Men (now sold by Mirliton as their fantasy human range) would fit quite fine for later 15th century Burgundians (as well as Italians). Don't mind the fantasy tag – they are clearly based on historical stuff.

Also the Crusader late medieval range (marketed as WotR but more of a continental range really) would also be very suitable.

I've got the Front Rank. Old Glory, Foundry,Grenadier, Crusader and a few Essex figs. in my WAB War of the Roses army and they should work fine for Burgundians.

I currently do a small range Burgundians, but see the Garrison update thread I'm about to write.

These are 25mm.
