I'm thinking of getting one and was wondering how the whole "pile o bodies" goes together. Is it a molded pile with a few limbs and heads attached or is it a jumble of corpse that you get to put in whatever way you like? |

It's two halves of a mound of corpses, so yes, a molded pile. That being said, I'm pretty sure the pile is separate from the carriage. If you had a spare sprue of zombies you could probably make your own pile. Actually, that's not a bad idea – toss in some limbs and stuff from other sprues and make your own pile. |

I have the old plague cart, and I have the feeling that the guy who gave it to me,who really likes the old,old citadels(and plays VCs),is going to ask for it back. |

Metal Magic used to do a Corpse Cat. So I suppose who ever has that line may still have it |

I have the old plague cart The ancient all-metal one drawn by a skeletal ox? Not terribly impressive by current standards, or frankly even the standards of the day

The GW mound of corpses is two pieces, and seperate from the cart body itself. If you've got as many leftover zombie bits as most of the necromancers I know, you could use the corpse piles as seperate terrain pieces and fil the cart with fragments instead, or you could layer some zombie parts over the pile to produce more variety. Nice model, all in all. |

I just like having piles of corpses for use as terrain. I run games based on Resident Evil so piles of dead and rotting peeps would be great, but buying figures just to make piles of dead are less than cost effective. At least with the corpse cart i would have a pile or two of dead and a cart that I could use for something else. |

Metal Magic used to do a Corpse Cat. So I suppose who ever has that line may still have it That would be Mega Miniatures, and yes, they still have it. Miniature Building Authority also has one, which comes painted, if you happen to be looking for a collection of corpse carts. |

Just got mine last night. The cart floor is detailed enough to build an empty cart, so you can use the mound separately, but it has a lot of arms and legs moulded to hang off the sides. Though you could still bend, twist, remove etc. the limbs that are hanging down. A lot of spindly bits like the nails holding the zombies onto the shaft, and a few extra bits to customise. Disappointingly small so fortunately I got it cheaper than usual. The Mega miniatures cart is simply a little hand-cart with a person pulling it and a corpse in it. |

Started tonight. picture picture picture picture As you can see the pile of corpses has limbs projecting downward so stiff it actually stands up by itself. Also makes it more difficult to get between the ribbing of the cart. It is the worst join in the kit and the seam has gaps in the middle you could drive a steam tank through. I shall be sticking on more pieces definitely. |
