All,
So I've built up a small collection of the gorgeous Ebob Rebellion figures. The cavalry while stunning, are very expensive for me here in the US, though I did get a single pack of 4. Can anyone recommend any other mounted figures that are suitable for late 13th early 14th century? What I am after are figures readily available here in the States and more reasonable priced than the Rbob cavalry.

As far as I can remember the only range compatible would be 'early' foundry but not sure if the periods are compatible.

I've been watching this post seeing if there are any additional ranges – love the ebob stuff and it's the first stuff I've seen prompting me to start medieval skirmish!Have a couple of packs of english foot with a few knights – waiting for the pikemen to be back in stock before getting them and some cavalry.

Apparently the Perry stuff is also of a similar scale, so I may have to get a pack or two of theirs.

I've just finished painting the Ebob English knights set. They are wonderful figures but as they are more finely proportioned then even Perry I would guess maybe Mirliton would be a closer match. This time period is definitely under represented in the 28mm scale.

If they are that small and slight, how to they stand next to Ral Partha or LOTR?

Didn't word that well – hence the Deleted post(where is the Edit button when you need it). In brief:

- Ebob miniatures are lovely.
- I want to buy them.
- I want to use them to persuade the others in my group to play historical.
- My 'others' are fussy about duplicate sculpts, so Ebob's range alone would probably not suffice.
- Other ranges would have to be of similar quality and scale.
- If I can't fulfill these then the project may be a non-starter

Can anyone offer any helpful suggestions for compatible ranges? (I already know of Perry and Front Rank as possibles, but maybe a bit too large – anyone have comparison shots?)

Cheers!

Errr…what about Old Glory? They should be compatible… Mirliton also sounds like a good match. Not the Copplestone's ex-Grenadier figs, but the original Mirliton sculpts, though.

How do I tell the differet sculpts apart?
