There is a Futurama Movie in the pipeline! Why did I have to learn about this joyous event from a magazine we were printing today? How come there are not thirty threads on here raving in joy / predicting calamitous unfunniness? I thought I could rely on youse guys to keep me up to speed on this sort of thing. You are doing your best? Your best is an IDIOT. Pat |

Damn – it's already out? I'd not seen it in the UK – just a trailer on the Simpsons movie DVD. I'll have to go hunt for it now. |

"All Hail the Hypnotoad" – best line EVAR! Well, except for "Bite my shiney metal @ss!" of course. |

Death by Snoo snoo! Woo-hoo! 8^) Oh. 8^( Woo-hoo! 8^) Oh. 8^( (And I prefer the "lick my frozen, metal ass" version from the ski resort episode.) |

Futurama really has "heart", just look at the episode where Fry goes to find his 7 leaf clover that his brother "stole" and it turns out his brother loved him so much he named his firstborn son Phillip J Fry, who later went on to fullfill Fry's dream of being an astronaut. Also, the last 5 minutes of "Jurassic Bark" is the most eye tearingly sad 5 minutes of animation ever. |
| Alias Zero | 06 Feb 2008 9:07 a.m. PST |
Yup. Scruffy's gonna die, the way Scruffy lived. **Flips to the next page of Zero G Jugs** The show isn't for everyone, and I didn't really appreciate it till I bought my better half the first 4 seasons. |
| GoodBye | 06 Feb 2008 9:36 a.m. PST |
Futurama-the very definition of 'hit or miss'. |
| jpattern2 | 06 Feb 2008 12:23 p.m. PST |
Mike at Work, no kidding. Those two episodes are literal heartbreakers. Anyone who doesn't mist up at the end of "Jurassic Bark" never owned a pet. |
| Austin Rob | 06 Feb 2008 3:09 p.m. PST |
I love Futurama. Bender's Big Score? Meh. It was OK. Glad I only rented it. Rob |

Because I've been looking for more info about the rumors of a Lensman movie by Universal and Ron Howard's studio being negotiated. If you've seen the thread about it on Starship Combat News. |

I also didn't feel that "Bender's Big Score" was all that hot. Intended to be (somewhat) feature length, but it just seemed too long. |
| iouliared | 07 Feb 2008 6:27 p.m. PST |
"Bender's Game"- that's funny! |
| Thornhammer | 07 Feb 2008 7:07 p.m. PST |
I change the channel as soon as I recognize Jurassic Bark. I didn't like Bender's Big Score all that much either – Al Gore is good for one appearance per episode, not several. And in general it just wasn't all that good. It WAS good to see more Futurama, and I really look forward to the next movie. If you don't like Jurassic Bark, watch Bender's Big Score. It
helps. |
