I have Russia's Wars of Emergence. It is more "academic" than most books that seem to interest wargamers. Have to say, though, that I have only skimmed through it. |

I've read Russia's Wars of Emergence. As mentioned, very academic and focuses on economic matters and political and social structure. Not that much on military matters. Save your money. |
