Anyone got a link to a USA company that makes 6mm army miniatures (WWII or Modern) that I could use for my Monster Island games?

PFC C-in-C also. Good prices, nice castings. No infantry, though.

Oops, forget what I said. Infantry under the "Squad Leader" link.

avoid at all cost purchasing direct from GHQ. Support the retailers instead who offer a fairer postage rate.

You may want to consider the 1:600 stuff too. I just got some for monster island gaming.

I'm still a bit stymied on finding cheap 6mm civilians for Monster Island. Irregular are too pricey in bulk, especially with the dollar in the ditch.

GHQ has no plans to do modern western civilians, I asked them. They only do Arab and Vietnamese civilians. But maybe if more people asked….

Maybe I could do Ros/Heroics ancients light infantry and snip weapons?

For jets and helicopters and Shipping you may want to consider 1/600th too :). Lots of pics in my Yahoo group.

This group is for people who enjoy wargaming with the Tumbling Dice/Vapor Trails,Oddzial Osmy, Skytrex and other lines of 1/600th miniature aircraft. These along with 1/600th scale ships and vehicles. Please feel free to post any information including rulesets, scenarios, ideas and suppliers for this great scale of air combat miniature aircraft. I have just started using these wonderful aircraft. And I would love to hear other players views and ideas. Whether it's WWI,WWII,Korea,Vietnam or the modern era .

For civilian mobs, I finally broke down and ordered a big box of coloured plastic toothpicks that I'll cut down to 6mm height. That will do for the impressionistic panoramic longshot camera view.

Take a look at Walthers Model Railroad catalogue for their "Z" scale figures: link which work really well with GHQ infantry which are closer to 1/220 scale, which is "Z" scale.

You get an excellent assortment of people and animals.
