Would these figs work with various companies that i have such as ,,black tree design, old foundry, front rank, these seem to all differ a tad bit so was wondering would the scottish lines work with these or are they just to small??

ebob's figures are correctly proportioned 28mm miniatures (I think 28mm to top of head and not to the eye). This means they may appear somewhat slight next to the chunkier figures of some companies.

As such, they should look okay with Foundry (my William Wallace works fine with my Foundry). I am not sure about BTD or Front Rank.

I would call that correctly proportioned 25mm miniatures not 28mm then…..

Hope your wrong I just bought 90 of them assuming they were real 28mm not 25mm.. oh dear :)

If the industry would decide on a way of determining scale, it would be great. Some measure to eye, I tend to agree with what Tom Meier has said that you measure to the top of the head. A 28mm figure would then be 28mm tall.

Now, to get back to the original question, the Wallace I have is between 28mm and 30mm tall at the top of the head (it's hard to figure where because he is slightly arched and that makes the height a little off.

So i assume if i was to put them in one unit together they would look fine on the battlefield?

STOP WORRYING ABOUT A MM HERE AND THERE
if the figures have roughly the same bulk and weapons and equipment are similar in size, then surely the visual benefits of different height figures, and varying poses, make buying figures from many ranges worthwhile
