White prime. Paint with Delta Ceramcote Spice Brown. Drybrush with Old Parchment, or Straw. Or both. |

I start dark brown and move to a light sand color with off-white highlights. For my asian buildings, I used Delta Ceramcoat right out of the bottle (with a little water). |

A tan. Wash diluted brown. Drybrush tan and then add a bit of white to the tan and drybrush again softly. |

I spray them with Model Masters Africa mustard. Ink with a brown ink. and then drybrush with a light tan. To differentiate roofs I usually drybrush them with a darker or lighter tan. |

Straw is only "straw-coloured" when it is first cut, it weathers to a silvery grey colour. Using GW paints, base coat with "codex-grey", wash with thinned brown ink and then lightly dry brush "bleached bone". |
