The Quartermaster up and running again would top my Xmas list [yes, I know not exactly figure and scale]. Okay, a complete line of 15mm 1848 Hungarian Rev. War figures, at a reasonable price. 15mm Amazons in Bronze Age gear to combat my Achians, complete with chariots, archers, queen, etc. And some cool 15mm slave girls + 18th century courtesans. |
madhatter66 | 28 Dec 2007 2:49 p.m. PST |
OOOPS, I meant New Year's wish [too late for me in Poland!] I'd also love to see some 15mm or 18mm Lace Wars females – cossacks or otherwise. I've got a lot of left over figures and I'm painting them up as an imagi-countries. I just need some females to 'spice' things up! |

Some 20mm AWI
er, American Revolution figures to round out Frying Pan and Blanket's range is my heart's desire at the moment. American militia in non-frontier dress would be very useful. I'd also like to see some German jaegers. Also welcome would be American and British line infantrymen without backpacks. |
Grelber | 28 Dec 2007 5:05 p.m. PST |
28mm Greeks for the Greek War of Independence--they look so dashing and romantic in their fustanellas (kilts) with swords and pistols stuck in their sashes! They would be great fun to paint. There are already some nice Turks out there for them to fight. Grelber |

28mm Perry AWI Lee's Legion
Any decent British Legion cavalry will work for the cavalry, but the infantry element is definitely missing. See Troiani. Mounted AWI Jaegers. All the elements of The Band at Bennington. This is the only missing element of that Flying column. A licemsed 28mm Flashmn range. British in the silly hats, for the '98. Trent is already doing the Irish, but finding a listing of that range anywhere is impossible. 25mm/28mm resin Valcour Island boats. 18th C American theatre troops in blanket coat for winter fighting. Useful for FIW, AWI, etc. Hanging man vignettes. For the rescue of the hangee thereof by stout-hearted men. Late 19th C Mittel-Europe types for VSF Zenda, Ruritania, Triune Monarchy of Scythia-Pannonia-Trans Balkania, Graustark, etc. Wupewt of Wuwitania. Lots of Gents in cavalry undress order for swanning about, up to no good, and in full dress for the wedding to Flavia/Irma. Homeric Gods and Goddesses in 28mm, to match Redoubt, Foundry, Old Glory, eureka, etc. Athena et al to fit in chariot as driver. Penthiselia, and her court. Mounted, as in Quintus of Smyrna, and also as chariot warrior, for the more traditional. All of the above 25/28mm, of course. |

Catoctinmike | 29 Dec 2007 10:48 a.m. PST |
Well – - 25 mm Danes for League of Augsburg (see Eureka 100 Club), Foundry/Dixon Scale - 28 mm imperial troops (or any other flavor for that period) for the period of 1670-1685. This would go with the Siege of Vienna period and could be used for the Scanian war, or Flanders and the Dutch war for that matter. Long coats, apostles, baggy pants, and floppy black hats with feathers. Restoration style calvary to go with them. Do a lot of them with many poses and and figures. - and 28mm Danes from the 1700 to 1720 period; would be compatible with the current Front Rank range; actually it would be best if Front Rank did them. I'll have a copy of everything ElaineP ordered. And about half of the OFM's list. Well, maybe not half, but the British in silly hats, anyway. |
