Gentlemen, I have a request
I am working on a new range of Samurai decals for the Sengoku Jidai – Warring States period 1550 – 1615. The range will be extensive and will cover most of the major protagonists of the period. I am planning to have each sheet in three versions to fit 3 manufacturers so far: Perry's 28mm Samurai, Kingsford Miniatures 28mm Samurai and Zvezda 1:72 scale Samurai. I am currently working on Uesugi Kenshin sized for Perrys. My problem is that I do not have the following packs: SAM27 Small Mantlets SAM28 Tall Sashimono SAM50 Maku Screen I could order them, but all I need is the dimensions in mm. I am reluctant to order 3 packs and spend close to $50.00 USD with shipping to the US only to find out the sizes. Besides, even more importantly, I do not want to wait. I am in the middle of the project and could finish it within a day, making the first series available for Perry's enthusiasts. I was wondering if anyone out there could let me know the surface sizes of the sashimono, the mantlets and the Maku screen in mm? That way I could continue uninterrupted. Here is a sample of future decals: picture You can see my other decals at imperialforge.net to ascertain that I mean business Thanks for any help! |

Good luck with it! Unfortunately I don't have any of the above Perry packs
but I'll be buying the decals when you've got them. :D |

Try asking Steve at Age of Glory, he stocks those figs for sale at conventions. |

Forgive the hijack, but the temptation is too strong. But for future consideration, any thought about doing some sparrow-and-bamboo mon for the Date clan? These defy hand painting with my eyesight. |

Tall sashimono: Height 18mm of which the cross pole is about 1mm. Width 8mm of which the pole takes up 2mm. I would treat the cloth as 6mm wide for decal purposes. Small mantlet: Height 22mm width 15mm Maku screen: Cloth is 28mm high and 40mm long. Good luck! I would like to see the Uesegi mon and the Tokugawa mon. |

I am thinking on making a pretty extensive range. I just came back from Japan where I did some good research, so I am ready to go. I just need to get those sizes
