Just finished painting a few pulp robots from different manufacturers and thought a comparison shot might be of interest.

First is Rattrap's robot, next one of Killer-B's Mechamen and finally one of Hydra Miniatures legionnaires.

Nice. Whats the height of each of them? Cheers, Mick

The Rattrap one comes upto shoulder height on a figure (no head!)

I'll try and get another photo showing them next to human figures

Ok, just did a quick bit of Photoshop work to do a scale comparison photo. The humans are Dick Garrison from WSD, Ace McGuire from Hydra & Captain Gamma from Killer-B

The bases are all the same size except for the Mechaman who is on a flightbase

Brilliant! Love all three of those 'bots, and now I know how they go/don't go together!

Three great robots that look great together! Nice job.

I wish that Rattrap one was a bit bigger… but really like it nonetheless.

Great paint job on those.

I like them all and I'm pressed with the white one. I always have such trouble painting anything white.

ming3112 Dec 2007 3:58 p.m. PST

Great paint work …The mecha man is larger than I thought ….

Great job, Gherkin! I really appreciate how you've wrangled the pulp robots that are currently available. I didn't know about Hydra's offering.

Thumbs up!

Ok – who carries the Rattrap one in the UK?

auton113 Dec 2007 2:22 p.m. PST

I got mine at a show from
principlesofwar.com

but you can also get them from
gamers-quest.co.uk

Where does one get the Mechamen? My google-fu is weak today. Thanks.

Oh boy, more places I didn't know about. Thanks for the links, now to go and add them to my retailer list. :-)
