Two entries for you tonight, you lucky people! First we have "Niles von Crane's Flying Circus!", a report of sorts of an evening of boardgames and such. Then, our feature presentation, which is a pitifully misguided attempt by idiot savant and TMP member Chronoglide to translate the tedious TV show FARSCAPE on to the tabletop. It can all be found here: misterplynkes.blogspot.com Ices, sweets, drinks and Tortilla chips are available in the foyer (though we only have the cheese dip, we've run out of the spicy hot sort, sorry). |

Nice Aerial report. I'm thinking of picking this up myself! I met Gil Gerard back in 1998 in Vegas. He was not a very pleasant person. Linda Blair and Adam West were much nicer. |

entertaining as always. Those of us that like Farscape (well, ok, just me then) would like to see some close ups of the character figures so we can see what Chrono used in his 'to the table' translation. Anticipating your speedy compliance and thanking you in advance etc

Your unhealthy obsession with Gil Gerard is something which ought to be seen to. I have heard there are very strong antibiotics now which can help with such a malady. Unfortunately, henceforth I shall confuse you in my mind with Claudia Black. Not that Claudia Black is a bad thing. I really like her nose. The "Farscape" scenario board looks more like something out of "Firefly', though. Allen |

I can't believe you're getting excited about Chiana when there's a picture there of Gil Gerard with his shirt off. (And there's nothing unhealthy about being obsessed with Gil Gerard.) Hello, Allen. Nice to see you around the old place again. If Chronoglide doesn't want Farscape to look like Firefly then he should bleedin' well bring his own scenery instead of relying on mine. It's not really meant to be either, but Arabia, Sudan or the Western Desert. Sorry Matakishi. When I want nice crisp close-ups in battle reports, I usually mock them up the next morning in daylight. But in this instance Chrono had taken all his toys home by then. He might be along to tell you what they were at some point. The Chiana one was good, really looked like her. But to be honest, while nice enough figures, the others could have been anything generically sci-fi really. |

Damn, I want to play that Farscape game! I met Gil Gerrard @ Gencon a few years ago. He is not the friendliest of autographers around. I overheard him tell his manager or agent that he felt the show was a big waste of time. (indeed Id have to agree with him, its Gen-con NOT a SCI-FI fan show) Still he could have been a little warmer considering the 90's didnt seem to treat him kindly. |

It's not fair. Everybody's met Gil Gerard except me. Though I did meet Bernard Bresslaw once. I think that beats Gerard by quite a bit. In fact I've gone off him now, he sounds like a right git. |

Farscape rocks! Gil Gerard is as proficient a Fighter as he is a Dancer! link Oy! Although I do give it to you that Gil Gerard does dance like a muppet. Aeron Sung could still kick his shaggy ass. |

Very nice scifi report. For a skinny girl, Aeryn gives great nose. Very Hot! |

I need to get me a hat like that one Pamela Hensley is wearing. Synflood wouldn't be able to beat that. |

Damn – I'll have to google Gil Gerrard to find out who/what he is before I can look at what I know is going to be a very entertaining report. Doug |

What scale of minis were you using there, Pol? 28mm? The mini for Aeryn looks like one of the militia minis from Urban War/Metropolis. Some of Privateer Press' Skorne models would be a good start for Scarran soldiers, if you were to repeat this silliness. |

All of the heroes were i-Kore ones
not sure which was which cos bought them off of e-bay
.think they are militia of some kind
..the peacekeepers were Kryomek figures
again, not 100% cos i nearly always buy them from e-bay
cheap is good
i was quite pleased with the Chiana figure, looked just like her and from a distance the paint job wasn't too bad
made her dark roots too long, but overall happy |

Not hard to find, no shirt on the very first Google result: link You'll have to photoshop her skin grey, though. |

Gigi is a very skinny gal, and the costumer did her great favors in Farscape. She has stunning good looks in or out of the gray makeup, but the animal sexuality she evoked with her Chiana is what makes it so memorable. I'd want Aerun on my side in a miniatures fight! |

"
And then they Lez Up." Could a battle report end off with five more fitting words? Great blog, Poly. w.

I met Gil Gerard at DragonCon 2007 and he was very nice and friendly. Also much healthier than he was in that special "Action Hero Makeover" on the Discovery Health Channel. |

I wondered about that picture too, doesn't look like her. However, some internet searching leads me to believe that this photo shows a young Erin Grey in her modelling days, in a late 60s photo shoot for Sports Illustrated.
Much as I liked Erin, I always preferred the saucy Space Princess and her wardrobe of shiny bikinis.
