For the old and bold servicemen out there, do you remember Wolfgang and his mobile bratty wagon? It came up in a conversation with an old mate of mine, it was spooky, no matter where you moved around Soltau he turned up I always wondered if he was a a russian spy, or a psychic or just tagged on to the end of a convoy. If the Russians decided to capture him, the old BAOR would have been overrun in 24 hrs. Did damm fine curry wurst

This is uncanny. I was just talking about Wolfgang and how his van would appear through the smoke of mock battle and the squaddies jumping out of trenches for a bratty and chips. No matter where we were Wolfgang was waiting long before GPS. I think they used his van as the platform for the Cruise Missile guidance system. |
