Are these two ranges compatible?……

Just the cavalry.

The Testudo foot figures are more 20mm.

Ok thanks for that……my problem is sourcing the Testudo but thankfully i may have sold it by buying up as much as I can from Vexilia in the UK and Olde Rivertown in the US…..fingers crossed i can get what i need!

Testudo are 18-19mm from bottom of foot to eye level. Essex are closer to true 15mm (if I recall correctly).

and how do tetsudo compare to 1/72 plastics like rewells or streetlets or call to arms ? (if they are about 20mm it might match ? )

They are not compatible at all, the testudo infantry and cavalry alike are significantly larger than Essex figures. Particlarly the Testudo horsed dwarf the Essex ones.

They are smaller than 1/72nd (20-22mm) figures, noticeably so. Testudo get the prize, though. They are gorgeous figures and well worth every cent. The line might be a little incomplete, though.
