Looking to make some vignettes for my Napoleonics and would love to find some decent benches, tables, chairs, etc. Recommendations? |

Scale Dollhouse hobbyists use a scale called "1/4 inch," which is 1/48th scale. Oakridge Hobbies carries a line of these. Also look on the same website for American O-Scale accessories, which is also 1/48th scale. link link |

I've been using these as eye candy for my urban WWII 28mm skirmish games, though my group has ruled that the furniture does provide some cover. For example, in one game using the Battleground WWII rules a figure at threat from a grenade was saved when it made a "dive for cover" roll and jumped into an old bathtub. Here's a link to some pics of a game with this furniture scattered about. It's at a yahoo group: link |

Foundry used to have some 28 mm tables and chairs. Also Antenocitti carry ranges that include furniture. |

Eureka do four 18th Century vignettes in their "Civilians" range:- link Most, if not all, of the figures would be suitable for the later period as well. They also do a "chaise longe" in this scale – ideal for the Napoleonic salon scenes! |

The War Store carries two ranges, Megminis and (I think)Dungeon Decor.Look around the site a little, it is well worth it! Both are reasonably priced. |

Dungeon Decor is one of the lines produced by Megaminis. If you're just looking for some of the basic wooden tables and chairs kinds of things, you can also get some from Dixon, if I recall correctly. GFI has the old Fantascenes stuff, which will work, although they don't always have images on their website. |
