Are there any good and clear images of Historical Hieroglyphic Egyptian (or SF Egyptian) passageways, suitable for Mummy, Wargods, WHFB and Stargate? CC |

Basically, if someone were to make styrene sheets for Egyptian type walls/passageways and floors, what sort of look would you suggest? Please provide links of examples. Thanks. CC TMP link |

I really want to thank you for all the examples, particularly those with smaller, vertical-running hieroglyphs. Very inspiring. CC |

I've used the above mentioned Khemri Project printouts. They are very nice! To make them "my own" I print them in b&w, and hand color them. It is also much less expensive than using color printing. (printer ink is the biggest rip-off in all the pc world). I also have gotten pretty good at drawing/painting in the Egyptian style, and familiar enough with hieroglyphic writing to decorate my tomb and temple walls. Here is a simple method I used for reproducing gylphs in a 3D mode of low relief. I have the toy Egyptian Adventure set sold as a Fisher Price knock-off. The set includes doors of blow-moulded plastic with gylphs. I use pieces of Sculpy in a long strip rounded on each end (a cartouche shape) to press into the door and transfer the details. Then I bake the Sculpy pieces and glue them for surface detail. Yes, this might be border-line copying. I don't feel too badly about riping off the Chinese toy that is a bit of a rip-off already. |

The first scene is THE LAMEST in the whole flick. Glad you didn't mean to choose it. The other two have been deleted by You Tube. |
