Looking for sources for alternatives to the OOP Gamma World type miniatures. Looking for mutant humans and animals, weird beasts and plants, post apocalyptic humans and futuristic robots. Please post URL's.

Thanks

I would just use some of the Reaper figs and maybe convert with The Assault Group miniatures weapons packs for Tech III Muties.

shockforce warehouse has bucket loads of suitable minis.

Iguana02 Oct 2007 7:56 a.m. PST

I have also used Dreamblade minis. Commons and uncommons are cheap for conversions.

Lots of ideas and links here, in an earlier thread on this topic: TMP link

Search through Rattlehead Games mounds of product, should be more then enough choices. Wyrd miniature and Comfy Chair Games are a couple of companies that come to mind right off.

Shockforce has some great mutant humanoid and mutant rats, as well as pure strain humans.

Mongooses's Gangs of MegaCity One has some mutants humanoids, robots and pure strain humans. Also there's some good alternatives for Mutant Alligators.

Superfigs has some good possibilites for some mutant humanoids.

My first thought was Shockforce as well… everytime I see those mutants I think of Gamma World.

A lot of the Necromunda figs would work for gangers.

"Mutated Animals" could come from all over the place, ranging from Reaper's various Familiars packs to the Museum plastics. Anthropomorphics are a little odder, but there is potential in GW's beastmen, the RQ/HeroQuest lines of Lance & Laser and Mongoose, Quactica (also Lance & Laser), Critter Commando, and others.

Don't forget the MegaMinis Swarms.

The Rezolution line has a growing number of robots, and the more disturbing Dravani would also fit right in. As would many of the Ronin.

Ramshackle Games has a handful of odd humans and quite appropriate knockabout vehicles.

Just about everything Dark Age Games makes is Gamma World appropriate.

Copplestone Castings and EM4 old Grenadier Ranges even some of the GW Necromunda figures would be good. Both of the above do nice Terminator type android/robots if that is your thing.

As you know Anarch I am too young to remember the game you are talking about ;0)

Figured I would try to revive the subject. Is Gamma World a system people are still interested in and game. Now I am looking for future miniatures cross bow armed. Any ideas?
