Thank you in advance for answering

They are working on two supplements to cover WWI actually. I'm not sure how far along the pipeline it is but they were playtesting it at Historicon.

A local club member had once run a WW I variant of 40K at a show a couple of years ago, but I have no idea whether he has shared his rules.

Yea, the WW1 rules should be out right after those modern combat rules…oh and that after the Napoleonic rules…

I´ve done a conversion of Warhammer 40k 3rd/4th edition, including a generic army list which allows you to model any WW1 army from 1914 to 1918. The conversion to *.doc format left some minor formatting glitches, but if you´re interested, mail me at tribun_christian at yahoo.de (eliminate spaces and replace "at" with @) and I´ll send you a copy.

Warhammer Historicals is releasing four books starting next year according to Rob Broom on the WABList.

They have been talking about this for last four or five years. I am in the disbelieving stage.

Arguably 40k is already covering WWI pretty well. You just need to tone down the more exotic weapons…

Touché, Robert V !

ChrisGermanicus, I'd be interested in seeing those rules, so will email you as well if you don't mind.

VonMoltke I produced a set of WWII rules based on Necromunda, which could be fairly easily used to play WWI games, as the weapon technology was largely the same. They have inspiring title of Necromunda WWII and can be found in the file sections of a number of Yahoo groups (Necromunda, Warhammer WWII, etc). I haven't got them to download anywhere else, by you can email me if you are interested in them. Use my TMP title at hotmail dot com.

This rumour is correct, the game was previewed at the UK GW Games Day in September. Various forums such as Warseer have pictures but for those in the know, the game featured was Dave Andrews and Aly Morrisons (of Great War Miniatures)game so many of you will have already seen pictures already.

The project was commissioned last year and already we are looking at between 4 and 7 books in the series.

Full details will be announced on the Warhammer Historical web site within the next couple of months..
