I'm looking for minis of photo journalists and film crew. I know EM-4 do a near-future film crew with anchor, and GZG offer a simmilar set, but any ideas for photo journalists with camera, vest with pockets and so on? In 25-28mm ideally. |

I was digging around through some boxes last night and came across the old Grenadier Future Warriors Media Team set (also sculpted by Mark Copplestone). Any use to you? picture |

Westwind also had a video-cameraman, and a photographer in one of their Supersystem Civilians packs – I don't know if they're still available though? |

Thkx Guinny, I have them as well. More or less the same as the copplestone/EM-4 ones. A tad to futuristic for my needs. The West wind ones look just the ticket, though. G. |

I think the assault group did one that looked like Geraldo Reviera. |

As this is posted to sci-fi, try the Mongoose reporter that is with the MI Light Infantry. SMc. |

One of my collections is Reporters, War Correspondents, and Photojournalists, and I have a bunch of them. As several posters have noted, there is the excellent near-future set by Mark Copplestone, originally for Grenadier but now offered by eM-4, among others. West Wind does pack NAM-009, Vietnam Chopper Gunners and Press. This is the pack that includes "Geraldo Rivera", "Dennis Hopper", a Camera Man, a Sound Man, and four different chopper gunners. Based on your description, it sounds like this pack is the best for you. West Wind also does the Superfigs Civilian pack SF-CV01, which includes a female reporter and a male cameraman. 1st Corps does Sci-Fi pack SCI13, Correspondent and News Team, that includes a male reporter and 2 cameramen. Bicorne has a War Artists mini, WA10, a modern photographer good for the 1960s on. Force of Arms does a pack, CXX03, Vietnam Press Party, that includes a reporter in helmet and a bare-headed photojournalist. Grenadier did Shadowrun pack 1323, News Team, that included a female reporter, male cameraman, and a bodyguard. GZG does Street Level pack SL-12, Sci-Fi News Team, that includes a cameraman, a technician kneeling at an uplink terminal, and two female reporters, one in a suit, the other in fatigues. Mongoose does a Judge Dredd pack, 690003, that includes a Vid Vulture with camera and microphone. RAFM does Call of Cthulhu pack 2906, Journalist, that features the same male journalist of th mid-20th century in sane, experienced, and insane poses. (Reminds me of Darren McGavin as Kolchak.) RAFM also does Paige Fox in its Modern Heroes line. She's a present-day female reporter. Ral Partha did Shadowrun pack 20-518, Shadowbeat Journalists, that included a female reporter with mic, male reporter taking notes, male with "assault camera", and a Dwarf cameraman. Iron Wind or Ral Partha Europe might still offer this pack. That's most of the modern and near-future reporters that I'm aware of. For a much more futuristic feel, you could use one of Corvus Belli's Infinity Hackers. They do different hackers for Pan-Oceania, Yu-Jing, Haqislam, and the Nomads. |

SMc, I wasn't aware of that MI reporter. Thanks for the heads-up! |

I've got a lovely set in resin, made by Verlinden. One video camera operator, one sound engineer. This is 1/35 or 1/32 scale. Set in late 60's – early 70's style for Veitnam conflict. I also made one up with a Verlinden head on a field gun crew member which worked quite well. |
