My Seven Years War army I am the webmaster of a webzine dedicated to the military history of the 18th century "NEC PLURIBUS IMPAR" or NPI, but since 3 years I have to change my pace of life, less library
more time to sculpt. I decide to sculpt my own an army in 28mm (or 1/58 for materials and supplies) for small dioramas. it's my NPI-Models series, you can see some of them there -> link I am a bad painter and a bad photographer ! NPI is also coming soon, Sorry if I butcher English language ! I can read it quickly but write it slowly ! |

Oh my goodness! Those are terrific figures. I'd love to have that Loudan figure commanding my Austrians. And those French hussars are superb. And kettledrummers – oh dear, this is amazing work. Are you planing to eventually sell castings to the public or are they for your own use? I will have to add a link to my blog. Well done, Monsieur de Chevert. I tip my tricorn to you. |

Very nice job. The paint jobs on the musicians look very nice also. |

Thanks for your kind comments. Sorry boys actually it's a hobby. I have added some masterpieces of my "Parc de l'artillerie", and other Supply parts . To morrow I will add some Cuirassiers Gendarmes .. but their faces are more "rustic" than those of the hussards, I have to correct that. Alte Fritz your blog is very amazing |

Yes Please consider getting these produced. I certainly would be interested in the items you are making. Its the items that are not made by other makers and I for one would like to have in my army. Is there not someone who could help this person to produce these items? Great work Monsieur Salute. |

I'm inferring that Monsieru Chevert makes the figures for his own enjoyment and doesn't want to get into the hassle of running a miniatures business, which is understandable. I know a lot of people would want to buy such figures if they were available, but I guess that we will have to be satisfied with enjoying the pictures and the progress that Chevert makes as he expands his army. They are very attractive figures indeed. |

Very beautiful figures
both from the sculpting viewpoint and the level of skill in painting. Thanks for the inspiration

They are charming and really evocative of the period. The trumpeter and ketteldrummer in particular remind me of the FP v.Gudenus illustrations of the French Army on the Rhine 1734-35. The Osprey Louis XV's Army series has some examples- check them out. M de Chevert, please produce some more. |

Mr Jean-Louis Vial, vous êtes un maître ! Et un GRAND GRAND merci pour NPI qui est extraordinaire et qui nous a permis d'apprendre beaucoup de choses sur l'époque. Jean Luc link |

I have added some figures: a Marechal de France , officer of the Gendarmerie de France (Gendarme écossais, Gendarme de la Reine
). The idea to produce some figures is interesting, but I don't know which firm can be interested. I don't know very well this world. Alte Fritz, I read your answer about artillery crew poses "Crusader Prussian Artillery Crew" you said "please have more than 4 crew poses" . I am looking for originals ideas. For the mortar crew I have some ideas, but for the canon crew always the same poses. The quality of the Prussian Howitzer by Berlin Zinnfuguren is very impressive. Et merci aux francophones. link |
Der Alte Fritz | 13 Sep 2007 5:54 p.m. PST |
Poses that come to mind for artillery would be: sighting the cannon holding linstock to the cannon barrel holding rammer/sponge carrying sabot/shell officer holding trail spike carrying a bucket Matross (one of the manual laborers to re-site the gun after firing) The last figure could just be standing around waiting for something to do. We this figure, you could use several of them with each gun model in order to build up the size of the number of men serving the gun. There are 8 examples off the top of my head. Foundry has 6 Prussian gun crew and Hinchcliffe has 5. Most other ranges have either 3 or 4 poses. |

Dear Monsieur de Chevert, to have the figures produced You could contect Alain Touler in France or Mirleton in Italy. Or why not propose here in tmp in the industry section. autre chose avez vous lu les "enquetes de Nicolas le Floch" ? JL |
