I'm painting some 15mm vehicles with solid windows. I've just visited the FoW website as I'm sure there were some excellent articles on painting vehicle windows, but they've changed the layout since I was last there and I can't find it. Does anyone know where I can find the articles or any articles on painting 15mm windows? Thanks tfc |

not 15mm, but kevin dallimore's site has a great article on painting 25mm old crow vehicles for Salute last year. PDF link Alan |

I just paint a couple "stripes" on the "window" to try to simulate glare. Then I take some liquid glossy varnish to make it look more like glass. |

Got a link to that tutorial on the Battlefront site? I can't seem to find it at all, and the site is moving really, really slow, if at all. |

Very cool article by Dallimore. I'll have to go back and use some ideas on my Grymn armor vehicles. |

My FoW stuff is about the only place I do complex windows, after the old Battlefront article on SENMM. |

Excellent stuff above. For a quick and dirty window, base coat black (I use black sandable auto primer); Then pick up a "pearl" color -- RR colors has a couple jars of paint that will fill this bill. Dilute these a bit and apply over the black -- on small figs (15mm) this gives a nice impression of a window. mjc |
