Thanks to a little nudge from those here at TMP, I finally posted pictures of my 6mm zombies, aliens, survivors, and soldiers on my displaced miniatures page:

The cardstock buildings are my own cheap and dirty template and I'd be happy to share.

Sorry it took so long…

Hi YB,

Love 'em!

Can't wait to post 'em!

All the best to you!

*** Would you please share which figures you used? ***

I can guess that you used:

Hard-Suited Fire Team:
- GZG hover tanks from DSII line.
- Epic walker.
- GZG sci-fi infantry.

Zeds:
- Irregular riot pack.

Survivors:
- Irregular.

Xenomorphs:
- ?

*** Which GZG line are the xenomorphs from? ***

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

On GZG's web pages, the xenomorphs are in the Future Wars Range. You have to page through several times until you are at the end of the range. The listing is:

DF-X01 – Alien Xenomorphs and Alien Bounty Hunters – 10 of each (20 figures in total), beautifully sculpted in 6mm by Tom Pope.

I am stilling looking for a use for the bounty hunters; they may make good post-apocalyptic gangers.

The hard suits should be NSL infantsry (DSM-127), although I need to check to make sure they aren't the power armor. They may be my favorite 6mm figures; they were the first purchase that got me into 6mm gaming.

The survivors are all Irregulars riot pack. It is amazing how easy they are to dress up. A few bright colors and some thin nylon monofilament for pipes and bats, and they can be everything from preachers to bikers.

Glad to see my xenomorphs getting some good use, and doubly glad to see someone else crazy enough to individually base 6mm miniatures (I have two StarGrunt platoons based that way as well as some random civilians, daleks and other oddities).

One of these days I've been meaning to sculpt a few more poses of xenomorphs and maybe one more pose of the bounty hunter. After the first, I was never able to get any of the others to look right though, so they have been sitting for years in a drawer, half completed.

Well done on the xenomorphs. They paint so easily, and are so instantly recognizable.

The bounty hunters are very recognizable as well, I'm just not into gaming the Predators. With their arm raised, they would make great wasteland warriors.

P.S.
I've crossposted at several forums.

Just out of curiosity, how do the 6mm Irregular rioters stand up against the new individual GHQ Modern Infantry?

I liked the Individual based 6mm stuff too.

I will probably base some of the Dark Realm minis individually, and do some conversions of the Xenomorphs along with some suitable 6mm "Predator" figures (I could swear that GZG does something that looks like the Predator(s)).

I would like to do a sort of "Space Hulk style game with them, where some Marines/Mercenaries land in a huge hollowed asteroid that is now an abandoned city that is between stars (Traveling at sub-light speeds) and proceed to try to loot it. The Predators would be a defense team that is activated to keep the city from being looted (most of the population is still in "Suspended Animation", and the defense team is supposed to make sure no-one damages the city while it is between destinations).

Only thing is, several of the Suspension Pods have been infected by a xenomorph that got onboard by a previous alien visitor, who landed at the city to try to get help. Only it died before its presence was known, but not before it Infected about 200 of the suspended Predator colonists.

Now, the Marines/Mercenaries and the predators hunting them are both being hunted by the Xenomorphs… The Xenomorphs I also plan on making a bit more intelligent and able to use some technology (some sort of inherited memories from its gene-line and host, which theoretically, could make it even smarter than the Mercenaries and Predators if it had inhabited sufficiently intelligent hosts in the past)…

The biggest obstacle to this is building all of the terrain and buiuldings I would need to make a 6mm city in 1:300 scale, with most of the buildings having modelled interiors as well… LOT of work…

LOVE the Zombies too… I will have to get some of those for a future Striker game (Warring nations have their dead begin rising to attack and eat the living on both sides)… A sort of biological weapon gone VERY wrong…

Hi Gunslinger,

The GHQ stuff tends to be larger… and more finely sculpted.
