Here are some standard bearers I have done with replacable flags. Let me know what you think. Oh, and the armour is polished, not painted. picture picture picture picture |

A very nifty solution. They look as good as if they were glued on. What about the longer flag types can they be made to stick to the top of the pole? And how do you get these flags to stay in place. (See the two minis to the right in picture 1.) p.s. A word of caution I can see that you've put the Breton banners the wrong side up. Turn right side up or angry Bretons will start looking for you ;-) |

Those are very nice. Love the armour. |

They stay up because the banners have been made to be quite tight on the poles. Thanks for the tip about the Breton banners Rune 3. |

I should add, the tightness of the banners is the reason for the poles being bare metal, the banner scraps away any paint. |

Very realistic armour, Duff. Much better than paint! How did you polish it? Fibreglass pen? TC |

polished with a metal sculpting tool, gently using a circular movement. Just don't use anything sharp or you will score the metal. |
