Hi everyone. I'm afraid I share Cacique Caribe's love of cargo containers for use with sci-fi gaming (no really, it's a good thing
.) and I'm looking to dress them up a bit with decals for Sci-fi companies, like: Weyland-Yutani, Cyberdyne Systems Corporation, Tyrell Corporation, and others (maybe Cogswell Cogs?). Are there decals out there or are these names/logos protected by trademark, copyright and/or other legal stuff? Several google searches didn't find anything, but that's not saying much because my google-fu is often weak. Any help is appreciated. |

I don't know of any decals, but you can get blank decal sheets that you can run through your computer's printer to make decals of your own, and this may be a great way to get the exact decal you are after. |

Why not just get Dom's Decals to custom up some decals for you? |

You have to be trading to have a trademark (hence the term). So only copyright will apply. I imagine the film companies will care, if they spot it. Better to go find some old company logo, no longer used: that way you don't have to be a fancy designer and you on't have to worry about copyright/trademark. |
