Here are some reasonably priced options (unlike what I found on Amazon):

I only hope that they are not counterfit copies.

Synopsis:
Acclaimed 1972 telefilm in which an anthropologist mistakenly angers a group of living gargoyle-like creatures living in a cave in Mexico. Stan Winston's still-impressive monster designs contribute greatly to this creepy TV horror classic.

Wow, I remember this film. It was cutting edge for its time. I recalled that Bernie Casey (ex- LA Rams all-pro wide receiver) was in it as the gargoyle leader, but I was surprised to see that Scott Glenn was in it as well.

i have a copy of 'Gargoyles'.I love this hokey old flick and I remember seeing it on TV in the 70s when it premiered. I was 7 yrs old at the time.

It's an inspiring source of scenario material.

This would be just as good a basis for a tabletop shooter as the zombie films if somebody could supply us with 28mm wingless gargoyle figures.

And I quote from the ad:

"DVD-R transfer of a very rare out of print movie. Comes with disc and cover art."

Doesn't that make this a pirated copy? I didn't think the movie was old enough to be considered "Public Domain"…

PzGeneral,

Thanks for noticing that. I've been burned before.

When this film was discussed on TMP before, I got it through Netflix. I'd suggest doing that before buying. I was glad to have rewatched it as it as it brought back some fond Theatre" memories (greater NYC Channel 5 in 1970s). The gargoyle buzz for instance brought back memories of playground games of Gargoyles. However, one watch with an adult memory was enough (at least for me). I'd love to see it remade as with CGI it would be pretty amazing.
