Michael and I, accompanied with longtime friend Michael Stamps and brother-in-law Michael Kingsbury had a great time at Nashcon this past weekend.

I added some captions describing 'oo is 'oo. See if you can sport TMPers mweaver, cloudcaptain, and parzival.

You got pics of games I was in and not one picture of me! Good times had by all!

I missed several TMPers probably! We need TMP hats or shirts or something (TMP on the front, member name on the back) – the little badges just don't cut it in the thick of a gaming swarm ;-).

The WW I air game was from a TMPer. So was the Napoleonic Skirmish and the Moderns Skirmish.

We're everywhere.

Very nice! Which one is you? I recognized The Stamperman and Michael.

I grew up in Franklin, but I left in the mid-80s. Where in town was the con?

Major Mike30 May 2007 4:53 a.m. PST

The con is held in an area you'd remember as farm land. Now it's full of shops, a large Mall, A number of high rise office buildings (coming soon is Nissans North American HQ building). You probably remember the Moores Lane exit, the Marriott is just one exit south, about a mile. Hwy 96's exit is about two miles past that.

Holy cow. That was pastureland as far as they eye can see. We lived in Cottonwood, at the bend in the Harpeth, just off Hillsboro Road.

Great Pictures, Glad to see you got some pictures of the Primus Pilum game.

Nice pics!
Those Blue Max fire/smoke effects are incredible!

Love the Pride of Lion undead Pictures. The Heroscape Skeletons were some of the first figures I painted. The undead Minotaur was in my next wave!

I've started another thread regarding pride of lions, please provide your thoughts:

"Those Blue Max fire/smoke effects are incredible!"

Yes – I'd like to know how that effect was achieved.

Those were Jim's pictures, so he isn't in them. I will send him mine to post at some point – I may have him in some of those.

It was a good con this year. Great dealers. I was glad to see Rebel Minis, it's nice to be able to pick up and look at stuff in person. Their 15mm Zombies are great. It was also cool to be able to pick up the rest of the D&P Modern Italians from Olde Rivertowne, hopefully they will stock the downed pilot soon. Last Square also had a great stand that got it's share of my money.

All in all a really fun con. I am surprised how many TMP'ers were there,

In the Black Wampum 4 picture from the intial posting above, I am the background hehe!.. well actually most of the background..with that steel belted 75R4000 I got wrapped around me! I GM'd the Blue Max Game. That is me on the right, facing away from the camera, explaining something to a fellow gamer, Dave… I think. Eric, a great gamer, is across the table listening intently as well.

I will research it a bit more on the fire/smoke tethers. A friend of mine in Spain, made them for me. They are pretty cool though.. I only have 5 of the fire ones.

Thanks again guys for all the compliments on the Blue Max game…. IT's always fun to run those games at Nashcon. See yall next year!

A friend of mine played in the Blue Max game, Yankyaeger – said he had a blast (literally, at least at one point…).

jweaver30 May 2007 4:36 p.m. PST

Troy, next year I'd like to try Blue Max – if Stamper doesn't dig out his old copy and have me playing sooner than that.

Templar,
don't tell anyone, but at least 4 TMPers are on the convention staff.
